SUMMARY:MATLAB/Simulink for Technical Computing and Model-Based Design
DESCRIPTION:!THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED! \nOverview \nThis seminar is divided into two sessions. The first session will focus on the use of MATLAB as a language for technical computing\, with an emphasis on signal processing\, image processing\, and computer vision. Attendees will learn about the capabilities of MATLAB in these areas and how to effectively use the software for their own projects. \nThe second session will delve into the topic of Model-Based Design with Simulink\, with a focus on its application in algorithm and product development. Attendees will learn how to use Simulink to model\, simulate\, and analyze systems\, as well as how to generate code for embedded systems. The session will also cover best practices for model-based design and how to apply it to real-world problems. \nHighlights \n\nUnderstand the capabilities and best practices of MATLAB and Simulink for signal processing\, image processing\, computer vision\, and algorithm and product development\nLearn how to apply Model-based design techniques in real-world problems with Simulink\nNetwork with experts and other professionals in your field and gain access to valuable resources and tools.\n\nWho Should Attend \nThis seminar is suitable for individuals who work in technical fields such as engineering\, computer science\, and physics\, and who have an interest in or are currently working with signal processing\, image processing\, computer vision\, and/or algorithm and product development. Attendees may include engineers\, researchers\, scientists\, developers\, programmers\, and students studying related fields. \nAbout the Presenter \nAs Senior Application Engineer at MathWorks\, Marco Roggero covers the application areas of signal processing and communications\, image and video processing\, and automatic code generation. In 2016 and 2017\, he was lecturer and examiner at Aachen University of Applied Sciences for the course ‘Cognitive Automobile’ teaching about sensor modelling and sensor fusion algorithms for automated driving applications. Before joining MathWorks in 2006\, Marco worked for Philips Research in Aachen on the development of a Car-to-Car Communication Systems and in Stuttgart for Philips Semiconductors marketing and sales as product manager for automotive microcontrollers. Marco studied at the universities in Milano\, Lausanne\, and Darmstadt and has an M.Sc. equivalent degree in telecommunication engineering from Politecnico di Milano. \nEVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
